TWILIGHT FACELIFT
Twilight Facelift or conscious sedation Facelift provides patients with the ability to undergo their Facelift procedure with twilight sleep in addition to local anaesthesia without the risks or complications related to full general anaesthesia. During Twilight sedation, drugs are administered through IV line to make patient sleep and calm during facelift procedure.
Benefits and advantages of the Twilight Facelift
The Twilight Facelift is performed with twilight sedation in addition to local anaesthesia, minimizing the risks and recovery time, compared to full general anaesthesia. The patient remains sleepy and calm but awake during the Twilight Facelift and is able to collaborate with Mr Javaid and follow instructions all through the progress.

BEFORE THE TWILIGHT FACELIFT SURGERY
Mr Javaid will provide guidelines before the procedure. For instance, you will be asked to stop smoking, as it can hinder your healing process. Smoking increases the risk of necrosis (death of tissues) almost twelve times. If you are planning to lose weight, it is advisable to do so before the surgery for improved results.
Mr Javaid will talk to you about the type of anaesthesia that will be used, the duration of the procedure, the type of clinic admission, as well as the expected recovery period and time off work.
SUMMARY
Operation duration: 3 hours. Anaesthesia: Sedation and Local Anaesthesia. Clinic Stay: Day case. Time off work: 7 days.
